OVERVIEW

HISTORY

March 2020, a community of artists from The Studio 1488 went to work reviving a series of derelict buildings down a dirt road off FM 1488. One mural turned into many and The Grounds 1488 was born.

VISION

We have a grand vision for The Grounds 1488 - to continue to build an artistic, park like setting and event venue to encourage community, creativity, art and entrepreneurship.

Our vision is that people with like minds are drawn to the Grounds 1488 to the public events such as our monthly worship night & the upcoming Fall Festival, and to participate in workshops and classes, or to host their own meetings, picnics, parties and events.

The Grounds 1488 is also the future home of a coffee shop, artists studios and an art gallery.
